Materials:

Yarn Bee Velvety Smooth Yarn (Size 5 yarn)
Polyester Fiberfill
Stitch Markers
4.25mm Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle (to close and attach button)

Abbreviations:

MR: Magic Ring
INC: Increase
DEC: Decrease
SC: Single Crochet
SL ST: Slip Stitch
CH: Chain
*Repeat pattern in between asterisks until the end of the round*

Ball:

Start with Red Yarn

R1: Make MR, CH 1, 12 SC in MR, SL ST into first ST (12)
R2: *SC INC* (Place marker in first stitch after SC then INC) (18)
R3: *INC 3 SC* (30)
R4: *SC* (30)
R5: *SC* (30)

Switch to Black Yarn

R6: *SC* (30)

Switch to White Yarn

R7: *SC* (30)
R8: *3 SC DEC* (24)
R9: *2 SC DEC* (18)
R10: *SC DEC* (12)
Stitch closed with a needle

 

Button:

Start with white Yarn

R1: Make MR, CH 1, 2 SC in MR, SL ST into first stitch (2)

 

Switch to Black Yarn

R2: *INC*, SL ST into first stitch and end (4)
Stitch the button onto the ball with a needle
